Practicing Continuous Improvement for Leaders
This Auburn University Leadership Series (AULS) workshop focuses on bringing a continuous improvement (CI) mindset to leaders regardless of background or industry. There’s a lot of “lingo” around CI in business, including wide offerings of Lean/SixSigma certification programs, but at its core, CI is as simple as making something better each day.
No matter what level of an organization’s leadership you find yourself operating in (and there are leaders at all levels of an organization), this workshop will give you a firm foundation to bring continuous improvement to your role and your organization. There are opportunities across every part of any company for improvement. Creating (improving) efficiency and reducing wasted time, energy, resources, etc – will unlock a huge ripple effect across your organization. It also drives empowerment to associates at all levels to make a positive impact. Participants will learn how practicing CI can reduce wasted time, energy, and resources and help improve overall output, results, and job satisfaction regardless of function or role.
